Ordering and afterhour assistance

What is the deadline for ordering furniture, display equipment and audio visual?
You can order at any time. Our hire and rental stock is subject to availability and there are times when we do run low on quantities. It is always better to order early to avoid disappointment. Late fees are incurred for orders made within 48 hours of the show opening.
Is there a number I can call after hours?
There is an afterhours number available for urgent enquiries. Please call us on either 1300 66 84 66 or +612 8004 1270.
I would like to see the furniture. Is there a showroom?
Please visit our Sydney or Melbourne offices if you wish to view the furniture. It is best to call in advance on 1300 66 84 66 or +612 8004 1270.
Can I order furniture and display equipment during the move in or exhibition hours?
Yes you can. Please call us on either 1300 66 84 66 or +612 8004 1270.
Can I order rental furniture and equipment for an event (non-exhibition)?
Yes you can. Contact us or order online and we will adjust the quotation to our competitive event hire rates.

Graphics and signage

What graphic and signage options do you have?
Morgan Expo’s signage department can produce all sorts of graphics. Please download our specification sheet.
Can we bring in our own signage to put on the furniture?
For a professional look, we can supply your graphics to fit perfectly with our furniture. If you would like to bring your own they can be stuck to the furniture using double sided Velcro. Contact us for the exact sizes.

Pricing and payment terms

When do I need to pay for my order?
We require payment prior to delivery and cannot guarantee stock until payment is made.
How are the prices calculated? Are they per day?
The prices in the catalogue and on the website are our exhibition hire rates. These cover furniture and display equipment for expos which are up to a week in duration. Morgan Expo has daily pricing for audio visual items such as Plasma and LCD screens.
Do you have event (non-exhibition) hire rates?
Morgan Expo has General Hire rates for events. Contact us or order online and we will adjust the quotation to our competitive event hire rates.

Delivery, cartage, setup and pickup

What is cartage?
Cartage is the cost of delivering to your stand and picking up the equipment at the end of the show. Standard exhibition cartage rates are 25% of the order total with a minimum of $40. Event cartage is calculated differently. Please Contact us if you need any clarification.
Do I need to be there to accept delivery of the furniture, display equipment and audio visual?
No. We will leave the equipment on your stand during the move in period.
When is the furniture delivered?
This depends on the move in/dump in times set by the event organisers and loading dock access Generally speaking the furniture is delivered the day before the exhibition starts.
When is the furniture picked up?
Morgan Expo commences the move out/dump out of furniture and audio visual soon as the exhibition has closed. We will pick up the furniture during the allocated move out times.
What states does Morgan Expo service?
Morgan Expo is located in both Sydney and Melbourne. We also regularly go to Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Canberra. Please contact us to find out if we can supply to your event.

What happens if I leave something in the counter after the end of the show?
All items should be removed from the furniture once the show closes. Items left inside the furniture are done so at your own risk.
Can I pick up the furniture myself?
We do not allow exhibitors to collect the furniture from our warehouse. Our hire items will be delivered directly to your stand.
Will there be someone on site during the show?
We generally have staff on site during the move in of shows, depending on the size of the exhibition. Please call our office on 1300 66 84 66 or +612 8004 1270 if you need assistance.

Are you able to build me a custom built and designed exhibition stand?
Morgan Expo has a full custom build and design team. Our team can design a display stand and the custom team will build the vision. These are the perfect option for any company that wants to make a splash!
What are the options for my space only stand?
Morgan Expo has custom built expo stand upgrade options. Contact us to discuss your needs and we will work on creating your vision to suit your budget.
What is a stand upgrade?
An exhibition stand upgrade package is a space only stand which is normally comprised primarily of Octanorm and Maxima system. These systems allow cost effective display stands to help market your brand. Contact us to discuss the options available.
What is the difference between Shell Scheme and Space Only stands?
When you book your space at an exhibition you are usually given 2 options. A shell scheme generally consists of walls, flooring, fascia sign, lights and power. A space only stand will only give you an empty space in the exhibition and you are free to organise a custom built and designed display stand to suit your individual requirements. We have a range of upgrade exhibition stand packages to view on the website or please Contact us about designing a custom stand for you.

Exhibition and event walling

I need wall shelving.
Unless we are building the stand we are not able to supply wall shelving. Please have a look at our range of free standing units such as our Logo Shelving and Mode 5 Shelf unit. If we are building your stand or if you are not sure, please contact us and we will assist you.
What do I use to stick posters on my walls?
Velcro is the best product to use. Single sided if you have front runner panels and double sided for all other uses.

Furniture and display equipment hire

How much space do I need for a chair and table package?
You will need approximately 4sqm for a round table with 4 chairs. This will allow an amount of circulation space on the stand.
Can I change colours in packages?
The furniture package colours are set and cannot be changed.
Can I swap items in the packages?
Furniture package items cannot be exchanged for other items. We would be more than happy to put a quotation together with your preferred options. Contact us or order online.
What are the Sabre counters made of?
The Sabre counters and display modules have Octanorm frames with laminate tops. We have a range of signage options to suit.
Are the curved counters lockable?
No, the counter is open at the back for storage and can be used to hide a credenza or bar fridge.
What is behind the curved counters?
The Sabre curved counters are completely open at the back.
I need a counter with cable holes.
We have a large number of lockable items with cable holes, including our Sabre display modules and lockable counters. Our lockable plinths and computer modules also have cable holes as does the Strand lockable counter.
Can the rectangular and square display modules be used as staging?
Our display modules are intended for static displays only. For safety reasons, they should not be stood on or walked on.
What material are the plinths made from?
Our Sabre display modules are made from Octanorm with a laminate top. Our plinths have a frontrunner (carpet) finish.
Are there shelves in the display modules and lockable counters?
Our lockable Sabre counters and display modules, Corniche counters and computer modules each have a shelf. The Strand lockable counter does not have an internal shelf.
Are the shelves adjustable on the mode 5 shelf unit?
The shelves can be individually changed to either a flat shelf or a sloped shelf but the heights between the shelves are not adjustable.
What weight can I put on the logo shelving?
While it does depend on how the weight is spread across each shelf, we do not recommend putting more than 3kgs on each shelf of the logo shelving as the glass may break.
What are the logo shelving units made from?
The logo display shelving has a chrome frame with glass shelves.
What is the best furniture item to use to hold show bags?
If you have large numbers of show bags they are best hung on our 4 way clothes racks.
Should I get the single feet or double feet grid?
If you want to have the grid up against a wall we suggest using the single feet grid. If the grid is freestanding from the wall or you are displaying heavy items, we recommend using the double feet grid.
Can I use my own hooks on the display grids?
Unless you have tested your hooks on our display grids we cannot guarantee that your hooks will fit. We have several types of hooks to choose from that are made especially to fit the grids.
What size are the tablecloths?
We have 2 types of tablecloths, standard and full drop. The standard tablecloths are made to hang approximately 30cm from the top of the table and the full drop tablecloths hang to the floor.

Power and lighting

Who do I speak to about power and lighting?
You will need to speak with the shell scheme and walling contractor. This information will be available in the exhibitor manual or you can contact the Exhibition Organiser.
What sort of power requirements are there for fridges?
You will require a 4 amp power point for a fridge.
What sort of power requirements are there for showcases?
You will require a 4 amp power point for every two showcases and an approved multipoint power board (which we have for sale).
What sort of power requirements are there for the audio visual (AV) equipment?
You will need to have a 4amp power point and an approved multipoint power board (which we have for sale).

Showcase with lights

Do the showcases have light?
All our showcases have lights and are lockable.
What sort of lights are in the showcases?
We have a mixture of halogen and fluro lights. If you have specific requirements, please let us know and we’ll endeavour to fulfill your requirements.
Are the shelves adjustable in the showcases?
Some of the showcases have adjustable shelves. The lower shelf of the 5105 rectangular showcase is adjustable but the top shelf is not. The tower showcase shelves are adjustable.

Event hire

I need hire and rental furniture for an event. What can I do?
Morgan Expo furniture and display stands and equipment is available for events. We hire to corporate events, product launches, special events, sporting events, film and TV sets.
What is the cost of event hire?
Morgan Expo has an entirely different pricing structure for event hire, including one day, weekly and monthly hire and rental rates. Cartage and delivery is also based upon the event times and locations. Contact us or order online and we will forward you our event pricing. NB This pricing is not available for exhibitions, expos, conferences or conventions.

Audio Visual

Are cables supplied with the plasma and LCD screens or do I have to bring my own?
We will supply the basic cables needed for the plasma and LCD screens, including cables to connect your laptop. It is best to let us know what you are using the screen for when ordering.
Is the plasma floor stand adjustable?
The height of the plasma isn’t adjustable but the height of the shelf can be adjusted.
Will the larger plasma and LCD screens fit on a display module?
For the 42 inch and 50 inch plasma and LCD screens, we recommend using the plasma floor stand or a Sabre counter.
Can I have my plasma wall mounted?
Generally, we are only able to mount screens to custom made walls. Shell scheme stand walls are not strong or stable enough to hold a screen.

Can I purchase furniture from the catalogue?
Other than our sales items section, all items in our range are for hire only.
Can I bring in my own equipment to an exhibition?
Yes, but all electrical equipment must be tested and tagged by a qualified electrician. So can saved time and money by hiring as you will not need to wait on the loading docks, freight or store your equipment. Contact us to discuss the options available.
